      Is it comfortable for everyday walks?

      Yes. It's thick, soft-lined and padded all the way around, so there are no skinny straps digging into the armpits — the usual cause of rubbing, red marks and bald patches. Most dogs settle into it within a walk or two.

      Not when it's fitted right. The wide wrap-around body panel plus the velcro-and-buckle double closure leave no gap to back out of, unlike thin strap harnesses that let a startled dog slip loose. You should be able to fit two fingers under the panel snug, not tight.
